I've always been a country girl at heart. Raised by a musical family with Cape Breton and Acadian French Roots, I studied voice with the Toronto Royal Conservatory of Music. My influences include Jimmy Rankin, Serena Ryder, Blue Rodeo and Dolly Parton. My original song Living For Today was featured on the June 2013 Compassion Action CD, in memory of Rehtaeh Parsons. I also provided vocals on Songs of the Former County, a CD release by my friend and singer/songwriter David Bradshaw. I am a juror for FACTOR, and a standing member of SOCAN and MNS.
I was born and raised in Newfoundland and began playing guitar and singing at an early age. I attended the Academy of Music for several years in my home town of Corner Brook. I've always enjoyed entertaining family and friends. In 2015, I decided to play in public more often and started performing at local open mics. The first place I played regularly was the old Ceilidh's Pub on Waverley Road in Dartmouth (above Monte's). Jason Price (ECMA 2017 Nominee!) ran a great open mic there. I met Wanda there in November 2015. We began playing together regularly and found that we had similar tastes, tunes came to us easily, and our voices blended well. Wanda has a wonderful chemistry that draws people in.

I was born and raised in the Halifax area and have been playing bass for many years. I met Derek about 20 years ago. We played together in a band for about ten years until the band broke up by mutual agreement. I've played a few Trunk 7 festivals with Wanda and Derek, but wasn't playing much when I ran into Derek at Liscomb Lodge in the summer of 2023. He invited me to join the Wandering Souls and, as they say, the rest is history.
I have been a professional percussionist for over 20 years. I met Derek about ten years ago and played with him and Wanda off-and-on for a few years, before becoming a more permanent part of Wandering Souls in 2025. I play mostly hand percussion (cajon, djembe, congas and bodhran). I also play electric bass drum snare and cymbals like a drum kit. I love learning more about drums every day.
